Instructional Aids

This class has taught me skills I will take with me to my future work. There were several instructional aids that were very helpful in my future teaching process. I have enjoyed this class because the instructor has shared with us his experience. I feel satisfied with their teaching methods and how they prepare their classroom to be more useful during the class. My organizational skills have improved greatly.

Cohesion in English

The concept of cohesion is a semantic one; it refers to relations of meaning that exist within the text, and that define it as a text. Cohesion in English occurs where the interpretation of some element in the discourse is dependent on that of another. According to Haliday, cohesion can be defied as the set of recourses for constructing relations in discourse which transcend grammatical structure.
